Bridleway horse rugs are high quality, well made and affordable too. We think the range provides something for everyone, whether their horse or pony is a hairy native that just needs a lightweight turnout rug to keep the rain off, or a clipped competition horse that needs a super warm stable rug. The range expands well beyond the basics to include products like fly rugs with UV protection, coolers, and different weights and designs of rug. Every horse rug brand has design elements that make them a little different from the rest, and some makes seem to fit different builds of horse better too. We believe that Bridleway produces high quality products at great prices with something to suit everyone. Absolutely. When you have a new horse, you often need to buy him or her a whole new wardrobe in a very short space of time, and cost can really be a factor. As Bridleway rugs are excellent value for money but still great quality, you can get a lot more bang for your buck. In addition, the range Bridleway offers means that whatever neck design you want, and whatever weight you want, the chances are you’ll find it with Bridleway. The good news is that Bridleway turnout rugs are sized the same way as other rugs, which makes it easy to get the right size. They’re definitely not skimpy so there’s no need to go up a size. With good adjustments at the front and generous gussets at the shoulder (in the turnout range) these rugs are generally a great fit. On the rug’s label, you’ll see the size in feet and inches, and the size goes up in three-inch increments. To measure your horse for a rug, take a soft tape measure (or even a long piece of rope or string to measure afterwards) and go from the centre of your horse’s chest, around his side, across his ribs, to where you want the rug to finish. Take the size in inches and then convert that into feet and inches.
